Thesis Title: Curse on the Land: A History of the Mozambican Civil War

About

I am an early-career academic with a research speciality in Modern African History. I completed my PhD on the History of the Mozambican Civil War in 2006 and have lectured for the past 4 years at Edith Cowan University in Western Australia, teaching courses on Global History, Human Rights and Genocide. My current research topics include: the political economy of Chinese influence in Africa; multi-polarity in the global system; and Post-Cold War rock music and the anti-capitalist movement.
